Receptionist

We have an immediate opening for experienced, full-time (M-F) Medical Receptionists for our office in Reston, Virginia. 40 hour work week, with no nights or weekends.

Experience in a medical office and in Women’s Health, a definite plus. Need a mature, enthusiastic, articulate individual with experience in patient scheduling, insurance verification, check-in/check-out duties as well as above average math skills. Good people skills and strong multi-tasker most important qualities sought. Computer skills are a must. Experience with EMR is a strong plus. Must be a Good Team Player.

Sonographer

Maternal Fetal Associates of The Mid-Atlantic (MFAMA) is the largest Maternal Fetal Medicine (High Risk Obstetrics/Perinatology) practice in Northern Virginia and is seeking a qualified sonographer for one of our 5 locations. Our practice is accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) to perform OB ultrasound exams and Fetal Echocardiography.

We have four perinatologists that are very experienced in OB ultrasound, love to teach, and are always on-site. We have a team of nine OB registered sonographers who are committed to maintaining the highest level of patient care and continuing education. They are all CLEAR certified and FMF certified for NT/NB. We frequently update our state of the art technology on our GE E10 and Philips Epiq machines. We have quarterly educational meetings with all sonographers and physicians to discuss new protocols and present interesting cases.

Our practice is dedicated to providing very high quality services in the field of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. We perform anomaly scans, biophysical profiles, transvaginal cervical evaluations, fetal/maternal doppler studies, fetal echos, first trimester screening/NT and 3D/4D obstetric scans.

The sonographer will be responsible to scan patients, enter data into the archive system, review studies with the physician and create preliminary reports.

• ARDMS OB/GYN registered, required

Candidate will join a practice of 4 Board certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Doctors recognized as “Top Docs” in the region. The practice has five locations: Reston, Leesburg, Fairfax, and Stone Springs.

Interest in Obstetrics and taking care of Pregnant women with medical or obstetrical complications. Experience is preferable in OB/GYN office, or Labor and delivery, however the MFAMA team will train and mentor the right candidate.
