Armin Razavi, MD, FACOG
Dr. Razavi is a Board-Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist and OB/GYN who provides compassionate, comprehensive and patient-centered care to pregnant women. She joined MFAMA in 2023 after practicing Maternal Fetal Medicine at Weill Cornell in New York for over 6 years.
Dr. Razavi has a special expertise in the management of at risk pregnancies. This includes pregnancies complicated by maternal conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, preeclampsia, lupus, and cardiac disease as well as women with a history of preterm delivery, recurrent pregnancy losses, and cervical incompetence/insufficiency. She has expertise in the management of multiple gestations, prenatal ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. Dr. Razavi also specializes in obstetric procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, cerclage placement, and nuchal translucency evaluation.
Dr. Razavi earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia (UVA). She completed both her residency in OB/GYN and her fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
She has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national conferences on various topics such as ultrasound diagnosis of fetal anomalies, multiple gestation, preeclampsia, cesarean delivery trends and COVID-19 in pregnancy.
Dr. Razavi is a member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), and a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).
